This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and highly motivated individual to join the Caledonia South Campus on a full time, permanent basis as a Premises Manager.

Key responsibilities:

Upkeep and general care/maintenance of the school building and outside areasCarry out minor repairs to property, fixtures, fittings and equipment, within the scope of the roleNotify the Campus Principal / CA team of any repairs or maintenance work, which is beyond the competence of the Premises ManagerWhere necessary, engaging with contractors and monitoring their efficiency e.g. cleaners, external servicing etcResponsibility for refuse storage, collection and disposalGeneral porterage duties and moving furniture including preparation of rooms for functions, such as assembly, exams and eventsAs required, receive and check goods and supplies and take them to the appropriate place for storageAny other work requested by, and deemed appropriate by, the Campus Principal and CA TeamEnsure all statutory Health & Safety requirements are met in a timely mannerMake sure any hazards and where appropriate cordon off the areaComplete weekly / monthly / annual testing and inspections as per guidanceManage the necessary checklists and systems on the OSG safety portalEnsure that clear passage is maintained on fire escape routes at all timesPromote H&S culture with stakeholdersMeet with H&S committee on a scheduled basis Overall security of all premises including: Unlocking and locking of school premises, including during holidays where neededResponding to and resetting of the school alarm, liaising with the police and alarm company as primary key holder (including unsociable hours where required)Checking and securing the school premises subsequent to out of hours intruder alarm activationChecking damage / security every morning on arrival at the premises including perimeterAllow access to any contractor who may be working on the site, in school holidays or at weekendsYou will: To perform such other duties as may be requested from time to time, commensurate with the roleUphold and promulgate the OSG UK ethos within all areas of responsibilityContribute to, share in and promote the wider and longer-term vision of OSG UK and OneSchoolTo promote equality, diversity and inclusion and demonstrate this within the role, adhering to the OSG UK Equal Opportunity PolicyComply with and support the implementation of all School and OSG UK policiesTo adhere to H&S policies and ensure all tasks are carried out with due regard to H&STo work with due regard to confidentiality and the principles of Data Protection, encouraging others to do the sameTo set an example of positive personal integrity and professionalism, with positive, appropriate and effective communications and relationships at all levelsEnsure high standards are maintained, progressed and promoted in all areas of workTo undertake appropriate professional development and positively participate in the appraisal of own performanceCommunicate and co-operate effectively and positively with specialists from outside agencies where applicableAttendance at staff meetings as appropriateOversee and manage the servicing scheduleMonitor and supervise the work of contractors working on siteWe offer: A competitive salaryOnsite parkingSupportive staff and wider community who are committed to school improvement, who will work with you to achieve your goalsStudents who are enthusiastic and highly motivated with a love of learningExcellent premises and well-equipped classrooms providing a modern and technologically advanced learning environmentThe opportunity to enhance your educational experience with support for continued professional developmentIf you would like to arrange a visit to the campus or an informal conversation regarding the role please email Ross Queenan, Campus Principal or call the campus on
