Tes is supporting the appointment of a Teacher of Maths to join a school based in Essex.

The school is looking to appoint a well qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of Maths to join a welcoming, effective and motivated team in maths. This role would suit an early career teacher or a more experienced teacher.

Working with a team of 13 teaching staff there will be the opportunity to teach maths from year 7 through to A level.

The maths team have seen year on year improvement in GCSE and A Level results, they have very clear strategies for enabling students to succeed in maths including "I do, we do, you do" approaches to modelling.

The school warmly welcomes applications from teachers who are passionate about their subject and are committed to working with young people to ensure the highest standards, not only in subject, but also in care, guidance and support.

Judged "good" by Ofsted in September 2023, the school is passionate about their vision: "A community where everyone feels they belong and are the best they can be."
