The Lounge team is growing We are looking for a Product Developer Intern to join our in-house Product Team, to help us bring to life the most innovative, luxurious, high-end garments and excite our customers as the brand and product offering continues to scale rapidly.
We're looking for a Product Developer Intern who is incredibly thorough, has a keen eye for detail and who has experience and a passion for bringing brilliance and perfection into garment fit and feel.
As the team grows, you'll have the opportunity to grow too Working alongside our Product Design Team, not only will you be able to develop your skills within this role, but we want you to bring your own thinking and ideas to drive the team's development.
What you will do at Lounge:
Assisting the development team with new and exciting products for our Underwear, Intimates, Swim and Clothing Collections that can fit within our design plan and fit our customers wants and needs. Assist in weekly fittings across all product categories by logging fit notes, organising fit models and samples in preparation. Complete tech packs to be shared with our wider team and suppliers. Assist with lab dips and fabric quality checks, communicating any feedback with suppliers. Communicate with suppliers to source and develop fabrics with sustainability in mind. Measuring and quality checking samples across all product categories to assist the Senior Development team. Expanding and assisting with print/colour/fabric libraries. Ensuring the design department is kept tidy/organised in relevant documents and systems. Adapt to a fast paced working environment efficiently, whilst keeping organised. We would love it if you:
Have a degree in Contour Fashion or Fashion course. Are passionate about sustainability and product development within the era of the conscious consumer. Are confident liaising with our wider Product Team and suppliers across the world - with a professional and organised mindset. Are proficient in Excel, Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator. Are excited to take on an extremely fast- moving and quick- paced role, taking on everything from fit to feel of product, fabric testing and fitting samples.
