Established in 1915, St Chris prides itself on offering excellent independent education with a difference. The School is democratic in its principles, which makes us a rewarding and exciting place to work. Our employees are some of our greatest assets and vital to our ongoing success.

The School was inspired by George Arundale in a speech that he gave in 1912. In this he said:

"The keynote to the whole subject of education is that the teacher's job is not only to instil learning and knowledge into the pupil's mind, but also to evolve his character and awaken his inner nature to a wider understanding of men and things – through bonds of mutual affection and trust."

These words still form the basis of our philosophy.

We recruit carefully and welcome applications from enthusiastic and well-qualified individuals.

As part of our commitment to the welfare of children and young people, all posts will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
