Successful candidates will:

  • support children with medical needs such as, but not limited to, asthma, diabetes, epilepsy or mental health problems
  • promote healthy living where appropriate and deliver workshops
  • provide training to teachers on healthcare issues and advise on school health policies
  • safeguard and promote the welfare of children by working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, Safeguarding Leads and Social Services in cases of child protection
  • liaise with the SEND to write Educational Health Care Plans (EHC)
  • any other duties as deemed necessary by the Headteacher or Senior Leadership Team
