This is an exciting opportunity for a highly-motivated individual to join the ESRC and NIHR-funded Centre for Care and provide research leadership on digital technologies and care. Working with a team of outstanding researchers at various career stages, you will help lead, deliver and develop innovative research and impact. You will develop programmes of inclusive seminars on technology and care and workshops for colleagues to support the use and development of theory. You will also lead on ethics and data management for the Centre.

We would love to hear from applicants who have a track record for world leading research publications, grant capture, and societal impact through their research in adult social care. You will have:

  • Managed and delivered research projects and published findings in world-renowned journals and public and sector-facing outputs
  • Knowledge and expertise in an area of research which aligns with the Centre for Care's Digital Care Research Theme
  • Experience of working with colleagues to develop new research ideas and developing partnerships and collaborations beyond academia to deliver impactful research.
  • An understanding and experience of ethical approval processes and data management requirements
  • Experience of developing and maintaining a network of contacts related to care outside of academia and internationally.
