The Job Role
Project Planning and Coordination:
Collaborate with engineers, and contractors to develop project plans and timelines.
Ensure all design and construction activities comply with CDM regulations.
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
Health and Safety Management:
Develop and implement health and safety plans for construction projects.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Provide training and guidance to site personnel on health and safety practices.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of project progress, including design changes and safety inspections.
Prepare and submit regular reports to senior management and regulatory bodies.
Ensure all project documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Monitor and manage risks throughout the project life-cycle.
Ensure all risk assessments are conducted and documented.
Education & Experience
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction project management.
In-depth knowledge of CDM regulations and health and safety standards.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Preferred Skills:
Certification in health and safety management (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).
Experience with large-scale construction projects.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Rate & Hours
£50/hour (Outside IR35)
Direct reimbursement of business expenses only.
Nominal 39-hour per working week;
Made up as follows:
Mon-Thu => 08.00 am till 17.00 pm (8.5 hr-days)
Friday => 08.00 am till 13.00 pm (5 hr-day)
Lunch Break: 1⁄2-hour taken between 12.00 pm and 13.00 pm Mon-Thu.
