Join a forward-thinking, independent accountancy practice in Waterlooville as a Senior Client Manager/Accountant. This role involves managing a diverse portfolio of clients, including Sole Traders, Partnerships, and Limited Companies, overseeing accounts, tax, bookkeeping, and VAT.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Manager in planning and monitoring the team's performance
  • Prepare and submit accounts and tax returns for various clients
  • Communicate with clients through various channels and attend meetings when necessary
  • Onboard new clients and provide tax advice
  • Review bookkeeping, VAT returns, and CIS requirements
  • Resolve HMRC queries and maintain records
  • Attend networking events and meet deadlines consistently
  • Conduct client fee reviews and assist with ad-hoc duties

Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years' practice experience and hold a professional qualification such as AAT, ACCA, or ACA. Proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, and Xero is advantageous.
