Join our team in Nelson, Lancashire
We are an International Supplier of Special Purpose Machinery seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter/Installation Engineer to join us as we grow. Your role will involve assembling machinery at our factory and installing it both in the UK and overseas.
- Perform assembly of various machines using 2-D assembly drawings and 3-D models.
- Carry out machine installations, commissioning, and start-ups on Customer Sites.
- Conduct site surveys for customer quotations and machine breakdowns.
- Troubleshoot and find faults to determine root cause.
- Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
- Required skills: Bench fitting, ability to read mechanical assembly drawings, good mechanical engineering skills, pneumatic experience, and experience with various equipment.
Preferred additional skills:
- Ability to interpret assembly drawings using CAD design software.
- Experience with Food Processing Machinery.
