Randstad C&P are seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer on behalf of one of our key facilities management clients.

As a Lead Electrical Engineer, you will lead a team of Maintenance Engineers, ensuring the delivery of a comprehensive and high-quality property maintenance service across all facilities on site. This is a pivotal role where you will be responsible for both the operational and strategic aspects of the engineering workforce, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of a static commercial site in Durham.

This is a full-time, permanent position and the main working hours will be Monday to Friday, 38.75 hours per week.

The Package:

  • Competitive annual salary of 38,000 per annum
  • Core working hours 38.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm
  • 33 days annual leave

Main Duties:

  • Direct line management of the engineering workforce.
  • Monitor performance and ensure that the engineering team meets relevant task KPIs.
  • Allocate tasks to appropriate staff using the CAFM system.
  • Take on Authorised Person duties in relevant areas.
  • Participate in the Engineers On-Call rota.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the workforce.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified time-served Electrician with significant post-qualification experience.
  • City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/5 (desirable).
  • BSth Edition certification.
  • Experience in a supervisory role.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Maintenance experience.
  • Standard DBS (England).
