We have a new opportunity for a Digital, Data and Analytics Lead for the Worthing site to support our ambition to be a world-class manufacturing facility with respect to productivity and compliance. The job holder is expected to both support the delivery of central projects as well as more locally led initiatives. As a new and evolving workstream, the DD&A Lead must seek to bring the outside in, keeping abreast of new technologies. In this role you will

  • With the GPS Lead and Site Tech Lead, develop, maintain and deliver a DD&A strategy for the Worthing site aimed at improving performance (efficiency, cost and compliance) and eliminating waste.
  • Support the design and implementation of centrally deployed DD&A projects at the Worthing site as required.
  • Support site continuous improvement activities (CIF), through delivering improvements and coaching others as part of the GPS team.
  • Promote and encourage employee skills development and involvement in DD&A initiatives.
  • Establish, develop, promote and encourage a network of practitioners and local directorate DD&A communities of practice, driving improvement initiatives
  • Drive the creation, development and maintenance of training resources to support employee development. Discover and promote external training as appropriate.
  • Integrate DD&A methods as part of standard Worthing toolset and ways of working. Drive awareness and inclusion of DD&A in CAPA, the Factory Master Plan and standard work.
  • Represent the site at above-site DD&A Steering and other central forums or working groups as appropriate.
  • Ensure alignment of site DD&A activity and strategy with site strategy and with GPS, IT and OT initiatives.
  • Promote and communicate site DD&A activity, initiatives and successes on and ex-site.
  • Maintain knowledge and awareness of current state of the art in DD&A and share with site practitioners and SLT.
  • Identify business problems and improvement opportunities across site which could be made better by the use of technology solutions.
  • Gain knowledge of technology solutions available in GSK and how they are used by other sites and champion their adoption at Worthing, as appropriate.
