Our client has offices and insurance strength across the country, and a longstanding presence in the insurance sector. The firm advises across multiple lines of business, including professional and financial lines, D&O and specialty business including political risk, trade credit and fine art.

The firm has delivered advice to clients in Wales for over 20 years and it was a logical step to open an office in Cardiff to continue to build their client base and reputation in Wales.

The Role

After a very successful office launch, the firm can see clear insurance sector opportunities in Cardiff and is looking to cement its position in the market by recruiting an insurance partner.

Key requirements:

  • Currently a partner or a strong legal director/senior associate with experience of working in a leading insurance group.
  • Experience in some (not all) of the following areas:

    Professional Indemnity (traditional and new lines)

    Financial Lines

    D&O

    Reinsurance

    Property Damage/Business Interruption
  • A genuine collaborative outlook and desire to build and lead a local team, working collectively with the firms National Insurance offering.
  • Confident and assured client ability.
