We are a family owned summer English Language day school. We were founded in 1969. Today, we have two summer schools in central London, Regents Park. Every year we welcome students from over 60 countries.
Short introduction:
We are looking for teachers, teaching assistants, Director of Studies and SKOLA Leaders for our 5-9 & 10-17 year old summer day schools.
The 5-9 year old school (SKOLA Gloucester Gate) starts on the 1st of July and runs until the 31st of August.
The schools address:
SKOLA Gloucester Gate, 14 Gloucester Gate, London NW1 4HG, United Kingdom (SKOLA Gloucester Gate).
The 10-17 year old school (SKOLA Regents Park) begins on the 17th of June and runs until the 31st of August.

Our Mission and purpose of our summer school:
At SKOLA, our students will learn English and discover other cultures. We hope this will help them understand themselves and the world around them better.
Not only will they learn about British culture from our teachers but also about the cultures of other students on the course.

Safeguarding and Welfare Responsibilities:
Responsible for promoting safeguarding within their venue and working with others to ensure a safe and inclusive environment is achieved
Help provide emotional and pastoral care for all students and promote their mental and physical wellbeing at all times
Effectively manage classroom management and student behaviour following SKOLA behavioural management policy
Be aware of prevent duty which aims to safeguard vulnerable individuals from being drawn into terrorism and report any concerns to the Prevent lead and or safeguarding lead
Make yourself aware of SKOLAs safeguarding policy and any other policies relating to welfare and safeguarding of students to ensure a clear and correct process is always followed to ensure children are safe and protected.
We are fully committed to ensuring that consistent effective safeguarding procedures are in place to support everyone at the school.
Before the interview, all gaps in CVs must be explained satisfactorily and proof of identity and, where applicable, qualifications will be required.
Appropriate suitability checks will be required prior to confirmation of employment.All concerns are passed to our Designated Safeguarding Lead.
As this post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be required for the successful candidate.

Clean DBS check and two references provided.Salary and BenefitsFixed term contract (minimum 2 weeks)
£500 to £750 per week (minimum 40 hours, Monday to Friday, 0830 to 1630)
Holiday pay (pro-rata, 12.07%)
£100 for each Saturday trip you attend (optional).
