Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, United Kingdom CVS Group Full time

We are looking for an enthusiastic and empathetic New Graduate Vet to join our team at Crescent Veterinary Clinic.

The position is full time with no weekends or OOHs

Our passion is learning and developing so sharing knowledge and discussing cases is "the norm". Admin time is factored into your daily schedule meaning you only stay late for a handful of emergencies. Our aim is to deliver exceptional customer care to our local loyal clients.

Our Senior Veterinary Surgeon has over 13 years of experience and is passionate about not only providing excellent veterinary care, but also about the wellbeing and personal development of the team as a whole. Here, everyone is valued for the unique skills they bring to the team, and encouraged to play to and develop their strengths and interests.

We are a fully equipped RCVS accredited small animal practice with spacious premises and car parking. Our practice is a well-established veterinary clinic having been situated in the beautiful rural market town of Melton Mowbray. (Yes where the Pork Pies are made) for over 30 years. With close links to Nottingham and Leicester you have vibrant cities right on your doorstep and East midlands airport only 40 minutes away.

Our team is fun, friendly but above all supportive.

About the practice

If you're looking for a practice that you can feel like part of the family then Crescent is the place for you.

As well as enjoying our modern facilities, well equipped practice and a busy varied caseload, you will have access to a range of benefits and our tailor made New Graduate programme offering you the right support network in practice by ensuring you have an experienced clinical mentor working alongside you in your practice. In addition, you will attend dedicated Continued Professional Development (CPD) days, supporting the development of your clinical skills and non-clinical skills, including self-leadership, teamwork, wellbeing, resilience and business, whilst also providing the opportunity for you to share experiences with fellow graduates.
