The role:

Based primarily at reception, the key focus will be to act as the first point of contact for internal and external customers and students and to offer advice and guidance that includes all areas of learning support, both face to face and over the telephone, delivering excellent customer service and promoting Gower College Swansea.

  • £ £12.39 per hour
  • Across various campuses
  • You will have no fixed working hours, and will work on an ad hoc basis, provide sickness cover or temporary cover
  • You will be paid a month in arrears e.g. any hours that you work in July, will be paid in August, and so forth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To be responsible for the daily reception duties as specific to the appropriate campus, to include answering calls and responding to emails.
  • To be the first point of contact for greeting all visitors both internally and external – for example logging and issuing visitors passes and signposting accordingly.
  • To be the key point of contact for all enquiries including incoming calls to the campus and transferring or taking messages as required, and the enquiries email.

About you:

  • GCSE Maths and English qualifications (Grade A-C).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and MIS systems
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
