Position Title:
Relief Chef
We are looking for a skilled Relief Chef to join our culinary team on an as-needed basis.

The Relief Chef will step in to cover absences, assist during peak periods, and support special events across various locations.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook meals according to menu specifications and dietary requirements
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies
  • Work collaboratively with diverse teams in different kitchen environments
  • Assist with menu planning and development as necessary
  • Efficiently manage kitchen operations and inventory
  • Provide training and support to kitchen staff
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chef in various settings
  • Culinary qualification or relevant training preferred
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to different kitchen environments
  • Excellent cooking skills and creativity in menu planning
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Availability to travel to different locations as needed
