Multi-office national law firm in London is looking to recruit two claimant Clinical Negligence lawyers – one of 0 to 4 and the other of 8 or more years' PQE.

The team has extensive experience in clinical negligence claims arising from obstetric, neonatal, anaesthetic, neurosurgical, cardiac and psychiatric care.

Medical Negligence claims often include:

Accident & Emergency claims; Cancer claims; Cerebral Palsy claims; GP negligence claims; Spinal claims; negligent misdiagnosis claims; childbirth injury claims.

The team has recent trial successes in the at the High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court.

Both successful candidates will provide quality legal advice to the firm's clients by managing your own complex and high value caseload from the outset (appropriate levels of supervision will be provided to the more junior 0 to 4 years recruit).

Both roles will involve taking instructions from clients and give consistently accurate technical legal advice whilst providing support to clients throughout.

Following on from this, your aim will be to obtain interim payments wherever possible, so that rehabilitation, a care package and suitable accommodation can be put in place before the claim is concluded.

The team is dedicated to improving the quality of life of their clients.

You'll be joining a Medical Negligence department which has a wealth of experience in complex clinical negligence cases, both on behalf of adults and children.


An essential part of the more senior (8+ years) role is the management and leadership of your own small sub-team of solicitors (which will, overall, fall under the supervision of a Partner) so the successful candidate ought to have experience in supervising others in clinical negligence litigation.
