Teacher of Religious Studies

Sherborne Girls have an exciting opportunity for an inspirational and enthusiastic teacher with the ability to teach to all years including GCSE and A Level Religious Studies.

We are looking to appoint for September 2024 but will consider an October 2024 or January 2025 start for the right candidate. Exceptional teachers looking for a full or part-time position are encouraged to apply. This role would suit an experienced practitioner or an ECT.

The Theology, Philosophy and Ethics department is housed in the Humanities building with bright and welcoming learning environments. We teach a wide range of topics with a focus on Philosophy, Ethics and Theology. We are a progressive and innovative department where creativity and originality are encouraged. We are lucky to teach engaged and hardworking girls with a strong uptake at GCSE (AQA) and A Level (OCR), where we achieve consistently excellent results.
