A prestigious criminal legal 500 ranked firm with a well-established foothold on the Manchester market, is looking to strengthen its award winning crime team.

The firm is now looking to recruit a criminal fee earner for a highly sought permanent position. The firm's crime department has been involved in many high profile and complex cases.

In addition, the department has a number of Higher Courts Advocates providing representation for serious matters such as murder and rape.

Our client regularly represents clients at the Youth Court, Magistrates' Court, Crown Court and Court of AppealThe type of work undertaken within this team is complex criminal law from all manners of minor and serious crimes.

You will be able to manage your own caseload and have previous experience including dealing with a range of Crime matters (LAA Funded and Private client work).Many of the solicitors representing clients work as police station representatives and provide free, round-the-clock representation for all police station interviews and pre-charge investigations.

As part of this position, you will be engaging with this with the support of your team. We are open to considering applications from Paralegals, CILEX or qualified Solicitors.
