Weekend Warden

We are looking for a Weekend Warden to join our team to support and supervise students at the weekend and enhance the safety of our student community.

This role is 16 hours over the weekend (9.00 am – 6.00 pm Saturday and Sunday).

This role is ideal for someone that is committed to the active encouragement and promotion of equality, diversity and inclusion. You will have experience in making a difference to young people and vulnerable adults by being a trusted and respected individual.

You will:

• Support and supervise the students
• Supervise a programme of social and sporting activities at the College
• Monitor the condition of and care of student residential, sporting and social accommodation
• Patrol the college campus and accommodation buildings; working effectively with College Security personnel
• Maintain acceptable standards of student behaviour outside the normal timetabled day

You will be a presence during the weekend and will have:

• A relevant professional qualification or proven track record
• Experience in dealing with vulnerable adults and/or young people
• Experience of working with confidential information#

£12 per hour (Pro rata £23,402.00 per annum) plus an uplift for holiday pay and shift allowance
