Position: Full-Time Computer Science Teacher (KS3-KS4, including Computer Science GCSE)

As a Computer Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4, with a focus on preparing them for Computer Science GCSE examinations. You will design engaging curriculum content, facilitate hands-on learning experiences, and foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver dynamic lessons that align with the national curriculum and examination requirements.Create and implement innovative teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback for growth.Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes collaboration, creativity, and independent inquiry.Qualifications and Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fieldQualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification, desirableProven experience teaching computer science at Key Stages 3 and 4, including preparation for GCSE examinationsStrong knowledge of programming languages, algorithms, data structures, and other core computer science conceptsExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsAbility to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potentialWe reserve the right to close this vacancy early if we receive sufficient applications for the role.
