We are presently hiring a part-time Barista/Catering General Assistant to join our crew at Government Offices Great George Street (GOGGS), Horse Guards Road, London SW1A 2HQ

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting customers with orders in a setting that accommodates high-profile civil servants and government officials at Parliament Square
  • Preparing beverages and some food items (reheating, plating up as all dishes are pre-prepared off-site)
  • Managing transactions at the till, processing payments, and maintaining financial documentation as required
  • Ensuring cleanliness in both front and back of house areas
  • Handling stocking activities and monitoring stock rotation
  • Adhering to food safety and hygiene protocols in alignment with health and safety standards
  • Participating in necessary training sessions when mandated

Experience

  • Prior experience as a barista is advantageous for this role
  • Demonstrated excellence in customer service
  • Mandatory CTC security clearance - with a minimum of 5 years UK residency
