We are currently recruiting for a Stores Person for an engineering client in the Aberdeen area. This will be long term work leading to a permanent position for the right candidate.It would be highly advantageous to have experience in a fabrication environment.
The main purpose of the role will be to ensure the effective management of materials and supplies in an efficient and safe manner,
Main duties will include but not be limited to
Order and manage distribution of materials.
Make sure materials and supplies are available
Ensure efficient deliveries to customers.
Monitor material delivery dates.
Ensure organisation of stores area.
General house keeping.
Load and unload supplies coming into stores area.
Ensure up date of stock systems.
Carry out all tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
Essential Requirements
Valid in date forklift certificate
Valid UK Driving licence
stores experience
Good communication and computer skills.
40 hour core week with extra hours as and when required
