This position is full time, permanent with hybrid working.
Preferred location is London or Glasgow (UK), but will consider applicants from EMEA region.
Position Summary
Reporting into Yardi Lead Director in CBRE Property Management, Business Transformation team, Product team.

This role is required to own the Property Management and Accounting related reporting functionality on the Yardi Voyager technology platforms for PMA* (Property Management & Accounting).

The role is required to ensure Yardi Voyager can deliver Property Management and Accounting reporting solutions for all countries using the platforms and complies with country legislation and business requirements.

The reporting manager is responsible for ensuring the proper balance between business needs, technology options, and user experience to maximize product value and increase efficiency.


Responsibilities:

  • Is responsible for training, developing and managing product team of 24 FTE's
  • Drives improvements to system utilization and efficiency of reporting process
  • Creates, maintains and owns the reporting roadmap
  • Works with stakeholders to evaluate suggestions for ongoing system enhancements
  • Works with the Support Team to review current needs and issues of users to enhance productivity and system use
  • Documents procedures and standards
  • Ensures staff appropriately document their work such as functional / technical specification, development, or process designs
  • Has overview of the onboarding process of large properties / portfolios / property managers, impacting current report processes.
  • Is responsible for assessing global impact for changes to property management application
  • Has very strong understanding of Yardi structure and can talk with knowledge and assurance on technical platform requirements
  • Maintains understanding of regional differences, assesses operating reporting model options for ensuring consistency of design approach and execution
  • Ensures design approach for implementation globally is consistently integrated within a global context and the wider operational platforms

Requirements:

  • Relevant work experience, preferably in a similar position at a global organization
  • Relevant Yardi technology experience
  • Relevant experience using Yardi in a finance role
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal, and proficiency in another language like German and/or French preferred
  • Ability to inspire and motivate
  • Have good planning, presentation, time and project management skills
  • Being professional, ethical and persuasive
  • Being innovative and a visionary
  • Training, development and management of own team

Communication skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and coaching skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, demonstrating a high standard of grammar and punctuation
  • A proven ability to design, plan and deliver reporting across multiple jurisdictions and cultures
  • The ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on reporting complex topics to colleagues and clients
  • The ability to understand where and to whom reporting training should be deployed to ensure the maximum benefit
  • Strong team player who shares knowledge and receives feedback freely
  • Ability to comprehend, analyse, and interpret business and systems documentation. Ability to describe reporting technical issues in a way that others in IT will be able to understand and act upon them
  • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues
  • Ability to write reports, manuals, presentations, and articles using distinctive style
  • Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on less complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups
  • Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action
Financial Knowledge

  • Requires indepth knowledge of real estate terminology, principles and compliance
  • Ability to analyse the most complex business/financial data and develop innovative solutions
Other skills

  • Advanced knowledge of computer software and hardware (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite Products)
  • Experience with real estate accounting software preferred, specifically Yardi Voyager
Travel Requirements

  • Travel within EMEA and globally, especially in those countries utilising Yardi Voyager
