Role Overview: We are recruiting for a Qualified Arborist to join a leading arboriculture team in Waltham Abbey. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a competitive salary and the chance to further your career in arboriculture. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of arboricultural duties, including tree pruning, felling, and dismantling, with a strong emphasis on Health and Safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform climbing arboricultural tasks, including pruning, dismantling, and felling.
  • Operate a range of equipment, including chainsaws and chippers.
  • Drive company vehicles as required.
  • Maintain a strong focus on site safety and adhere to Health and Safety standards.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Fully qualified with:
    • CS30/31 (Chainsaw Maintenance and Tree Felling)
    • CS38 (Tree Climbing and Aerial Rescue)
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable Qualifications:

  • 01 Climb Trees
  • 02 Perform Aerial Rescue
  • CS39 Use a Chainsaw from a Rope and Harness
  • CS40 Carry out Pruning Operations
  • CS41 Undertake Sectional Felling
  • CS47 Use of Chainsaw from a MEWP (Mobile Elevated Work Platform)
  • First Aid Appointed Person
  • Risk Assessment
  • Roads and Street Works Act Units 1 & 2
