Statutory Reporting Accountant

Position: Group Statutory Reporting Manager
Purpose of Position
Reporting directly to the Group Statutory Reporting Manager, this role is crucial for ensuring compliance reporting and timely filing of statutory accounts for the area of responsibility. The role also involves monthly reporting to the board and providing support on technical accounting matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Monthly/Quarterly Financial Reports to the Bank & the board.
- Monthly Close Process
- Preparation of Annual Statutory Consolidated Accounts for the Group
- Co-ordination of External Audits
- Projects Ad Hoc
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
- ACA/ACCA qualified with 2 years PQE
- Minimum 3 years of audit experience
- In-depth understanding of UK GAAP
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Pivot, SAP, MS Office, Self Service Analytical Tools
Skills & Knowledge Required
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills
- Highly self-motivated and detail-oriented
- Process and controls mindset
- Strong stakeholder management skills
