We are on the search for an experienced Motion & Graphic Designer to lead on conception, creation, and execution of visual assets to enhance brand reputation, engage key target audiences and support the achievement of marketing goals.

This is a brand-new opportunity within the Brand & Design team, with some exciting projects to lead and make an impact.

Please note, this role is currently based at our Kent HQ and there is a requirement to be on site four days per week.

How will you make an impact?

  • Create visually appealing designs through film, moving assets and various forms of motion for activations across digital media platforms including Watchfinder Website.
  • Utilise video software, such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Cinema 4D, to design and execute captivating motion graphics.
  • Create and develop original, high quality, creative concepts through the delivery if static and dynamic assets in response to briefs, that conform to brand guidelines.
  • Adapt and optimize creative assets for different screen sizes and resolutions to ensure seamless viewing on multiple devices.
  • Incorporate typography, visual effects, and sound design to enhance overall impact and engagement of motion graphic content.
  • Lead multiple projects simultaneously and adhering to project timelines and budgets.
  • Contribute to wider creative process with innovative ideas and creative solutions that contribute to the overall success of the Brand & Design team.
  • Collaborate with the creative team, including other designers, copywriters, and content creators, to conceptualise and storyboard projects that align with the brand guidelines and project objectives.
  • Work cross functionally with wider key stakeholders to understand project goals, gather feedback, and incorporate revisions to achieve the desired creative vision.

How will you experience success with us?

  • Significant experience as a creative designer working in a studio, agency or in-house.
  • Core focuses on motion graphics using After Effects, Premier Pro and Cinema 4D.
  • An obsession with motion and a foundational understanding of the principles and how to apply them to the latest trends and innovations.
  • A passion for visual effects and a desire to push the envelope to create meaningful differentiation and standout.
  • A standout showreel demonstrating range of motion graphics experience.
  • A solid understanding of design principles and the ability to interpret written and verbal briefs.
  • Ability to work cross-team to make things happen, dealing effectively with teams and locales.
  • Ability to plan and schedule projects and content to deliver work on a regular and timely fashion.
  • Ability to develop content that adheres to corporate and visual editorial guidelines.
  • A high standard of graphic design using the Adobe Creative suite, mainly After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Ability to support on digital and print projects, and other ad-hoc campaigns where required in the design team.
  • Good interpersonal and team working skills, to clearly and concisely communicate aims, creative approach, priorities and concerns.
  • Ability to work cross-team to make things happen, dealing effectively with teams and locales.
