Overview

Based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire.

We are seeking an experienced multi-skilled engineer with expertise in Gates & Barriers/Industrial/Automatic Doors and Bollards to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a background in electrics, with the ability to troubleshoot effectively. Welding and hydraulic experience would be desirable.

The role involves servicing, repairing, maintaining, and installing various entry systems, including gates, roller doors, barriers, and automatic doors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service, maintain, and install entry systems including gates, roller doors, barriers, and automatic doors.
• Conduct routine inspections and diagnose faults to ensure systems are operating efficiently.
• Perform repairs and replacements of components as necessary.
• Provide technical support and advice to clients on system operation and maintenance.
• Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements:

• Background in electrics with the abilitto troubleshoot effectively.
• Welding experience would be desirable.
• Qualifications in manual handling, PASMA, IPAF, and asbestos awareness is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail with the ability to report any further works and the parts required for repairs.
• Full UK driving license.
