Our client are currently looking to hire an Internal Audit Manager in the Accounting & Finance department of a financial services organisation in Yorkshire.

Description

  • Conducting internal audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Developing and implementing internal auditing policies and procedures.
  • Providing insights on audit findings and recommendations to senior management.
  • Training and mentoring junior staff members in internal auditing procedures.
  • Ensuring the organisation's financial activities align with its strategic goals.

Profile

A successful IA Manager should have:

  • An accounting or internal Audit qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIA or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in internal auditing and risk management.
  • Prior Financial Services experience is desirable.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using financial software and tools.
