Our Head of Student Recruitment (Sheffield Hallam University in London) role offers a unique opportunity to shape the educational landscape in one of the most dynamic cities in the world. Your vision and leadership will be crucial in establishing our new London campus as a leading destination for higher education. You will be at the forefront of developing and implementing a bold new strategy for student recruitment, conversion and widening access across all markets and levels of study.

Scheduled to open in Autumn 2026, our London campus at Brent Cross Town will offer high-demand subjects for up to 5,000 students by 2030. This campus will enhance our provision, offering undergraduate, postgraduate, and lifelong learning opportunities, as well as apprenticeships, work-based learning and placements, across the London area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership and Local Market Integration: Establish and grow our presence in the local market, develop robust recruitment pipelines, and create impactful recruitment strategies and tactical plans.
  • Build a High-Performing Team: Recruit, develop, and lead a team to achieve student recruitment and income targets.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management: Develop partnerships with educational institutions and organisations; drive student engagement activities; and oversee future student relationship management.
  • Widening Access and Participation: Champion inclusive educational opportunities for diverse student populations and develop strategies in line with our Access and Participation plan. Foster collaborative partnerships across the region to enhance civic engagement.
