We are seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join our dedicated Paralegal Team.

What will you be doing?
Our Recovery+ (defended) team offers dispute resolution services to various clientele in consumer, commercial, and other sectors.

Your role will involve handling a variety of disputes under supervision, such as small claims track, fast track, and multi-track claims. You will work on disputes ranging from consumer claims to breach of contract and data breaches.

You will be responsible for:

  • Pre-action communications
  • Acknowledgments of Service
  • Defences
  • Telephone mediation appointments
  • Negotiating and settling claims
  • Witness Statements
  • Drafting Set aside, strike out, and summary judgment applications
  • Instructions to counsel
  • Consent Orders and Tomlin Orders
  • Hearing Bundles
  • Statements of costs
  • Defending injunction applications
  • Defending and pursuing appeals
  • Pursuing and enforcing costs orders
So what are we looking for?
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
  • Completed a law degree or other legal qualification
  • Experience managing multiple workloads
  • Experience managing your caseload using case/client management system
