PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The purpose of the Financial Controller is to support the Director of Accounting in the day-to-day finance duties of Neighbourly Brands.
Key Responsibilities
Weekly distribution of cash collected to the network Providing leadership and advice regarding all financial matters within the business, including all financial analysis into business planning and performance.Month end close and reporting.Month end close in line with the parent co timetable.Production of monthly management accounts.Reporting on a number of pre-determined KPI's around sales, costs, profitability, working capital and productivity.Ensuring integrity of balance sheet.Year-end reporting and audit.Responsible for preparation of UK GAAP statutory accounts and to oversee tax computations.Liaison with parent company auditors and other regulatory bodies.Tax compliance.Oversee all VAT, PAYE and other tax returns.Any other reasonable duty that falls within your capabilities.

Experience/Skills/Knowledge
EXPERIENCE:
Proven experience in a Financial Controller role with an appropriate professional Accountancy qualificationPreferably from a services/contracting background
Skills / Knowledge
Strong leadership and motivational skillsStrong working knowledge of Office 365 with advanced Excel skillsExcellent communication skills
