Exciting new role for a CapEx Coordinator to join our CapEx team in Haydock.

The main purpose of this role will be efficiently managing all aspects of capital expenditure for the Speedy business, reporting into Supply Chain and interacts with the wider business and depot network.

Key responsibilities-

  • Ensuring availability of assets within the business according to utilisation figures and PEAK forecast
  • Generating monthly reports of outstanding capex orders
  • Approving all capex requests in line with company delegation of authority
  • Monitoring company utilisation levels to propose capex spend.
  • Monthly FAR reconciliation
  • Manage and monitor the capex spend vs budget.
  • Liaise with Supply Chain to provide updated schedules to relevant locations.
  • Liaise with Supply Chain to ensure trade agreements are updated and accurate.
  • Propose UEL and Residual values on new products in line with company policy and market rates.
  • Regular reviews to ensure UEL and Residual values are in line with market rates.
  • Contribute to ongoing development of internal processes and procedures.
  • Provide support in rolling any new process' and initiatives.
  • Provide support to the Finance Team in processing of transactions.
  • Regular maintenance of the asset register
  • Liaise with the depot network to ensure the integrity and accuracy of asset information.
  • Participate in company projects.
  • Assist in reconciling all stock counts both Itemised and Non-Itemised products.
  • Ensuring all document and records are available and easily retrievable within the shared folder.

Knowledge/ Skills required:

  • Strong experience and knowledge of Speedy products
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Communication and influencing skills.
  • Experience of purchasing large volumes
  • Excellent analytical skills with experience of creating reports and dealing with large volumes of data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience withing.

  • Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and general PC skills
  • Ability to plan and organise own workload, while working under pressure to strict deadlines.

  • Good attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate, and high-quality work.

  • Able to prioritise a multi-channel workload, through the allocation of work to your team, whilst identifying trends and constantly reviewing performance
  • A pragmatic approach to problem solving, combined with a solid understanding of root-cause analysis.
  • Strong IT Skills, with a proficient knowledge of MS Excel skills (V-Lookup / Pivot / Data Manipulation)
