At Tidbury Green School, Dickens Heath Road, Solihull, B90 1QW

PAY RANGE; Band C £ £14.43 per hour

Required as soon as possible. Hours: 1.5 hours for each of six governor meeting, plus flexible administration hours as required for the role (approx. equivalent of 5 days per school year)

The Governors and Headteacher are seeking to appoint a Clerk to Governors to join our thriving and dedicated team at Tidbury Green School.

A fantastic opportunity to Clerk for our school. You must be able to;

Provide effective administrative and organisational support to the governing board and its committees.

Ensure the governing board is properly constituted, recording the structure, membership and terms of reference of each committee and ensuring these are available to everyone involved in governance.

Provide Governing Boards with expert advice on governance, procedures and compliance and directly contributing to its efficient conduct.

Meet the administrative and procedural requirements of boards and enabling efficient and effective discussion and decision making.

Manage information effectively, advising on procedural matters relating to the operation of the board.

Provide impartial advice and support to the chair and board on appropriate governance structures and schemes of delegation.
