This fast-growing company is focused on providing sustainable and affordable housing solutions. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced QHSE Inspector to join their team and help them achieve their goal of revolutionising the housing industry.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement QHSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and company standards
  • Conduct regular audits to identify potential hazards and risks, and implement corrective actions to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Work with other departments to ensure compliance with QHSE standards and procedures
  • Provide QHSE training to employees and contractors to ensure they understand and adhere to company policies
  • Conduct incident investigations and root cause analysis to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and maintain QHSE management systems to ensure continuous improvement
  • Monitor and report on QHSE performance to senior management

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field - preferred but not essential
  • At least 5 years of experience in QHSE
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards
  • Experience in conducting audits and investigations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Construction is essential.
  • Certification in QHSE management systems (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO is an asset
