Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare working files and draft accounts for clients.
  • Address client queries and prepare discussion points for senior managers and partners.
  • Manage client accounts within agreed budgets.
  • Produce draft tax computations and provisions for inclusion in company accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory disclosures according to company guidelines.
  • Identify tax planning opportunities while adhering to standard procedures.
  • Utilize accounting software to produce high-quality work.
  • Participate in ongoing training to enhance technical and professional skills.
  • Work towards professional qualifications, supported by full study packages.
  • Represent the firm professionally in client interactions and industry events.
Experience & Skills:
  • Previous experience as an Accounts Senior in an accounting firm.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based accounting software (IRIS, Xero preferred but not essential).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration abilities.
  • Proactive, self-driven approach to work.
Qualifications:
  • ACA or ACCA qualified (part-qualified candidates will be considered).
