Accountancy Action are recruiting an experienced Temporary Accounts Assistant for a business based in Stevenage.This role is paying between £12ph - £14ph based on experience with hybrid working available.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring and processing incoming transfers to the company's bank accounts
  • Assisting with expenditure entries and bank reconciliations
  • Maintaining and updating databases and records
  • Supporting the preparation and handling queries related to Annual Fee invoices
  • Managing client account issues, including overdrafts and draw down balances
  • Reviewing and processing invoices and payment requests
  • Contributing to the preparation of monthly and quarterly management reports
  • Assisting with external audits
  • Maintaining the accounts team inbox
    Requirements:
    • Graduate (or equivalent), preferably with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
    • 1-2 years of experience in an accounts or finance department, particularly in a client-based industry
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Proficient in IT, including MS Office (Excel is essential) and accounting software
    • Available immediately
