We are looking for part-time skilled SEN Lecturer with ICT Specialism for our Specialist Provision in Houghton Regis. You will be part of a passionate and dedicated team making a real difference to young people's lives.

In this exciting role you will have the ability to manage a diverse range of learners, use interactive methods in the classroom. Plan and prepare of schemes of work, lesson plans and undertake the continual assessment of learner work and progress. Delivering functional skills Maths and English to level 1 is also a requirement of this post.

Experience in working with young people who have Special Educational Needs, dyslexia, ASD, ADHD, Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (SEBD) or those not suited to main stream learning environments is essential in this role.

Applicants should hold a level 5 qualification in relevant subject area and/or hold 5 years professional industry experience. They should also hold level 2 qualification in Maths and English.

About you:

  • Relevant SEND qualification or equivalent experience
  • Level 2 qualification in Maths and English
  • Assessor Award (or willingness to work towards)
  • Experience working in the relevant industry
  • Minimum of 3 years teaching experience
  • Good personal and interpersonal and communication skills
  • Data analysis skills
  • Ability to teach using a range of approaches in teaching and learning
