My cleint are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join their team. This
role requires an individual who can work efficiently and independently, ensuring that all
financial records are accurate and up-to-date. The successful candidate will be responsible for
reconciling bills and invoices, processing payroll and pensions, and using Xero software to
manage financial data.

Key

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary communicator with clients, addressing their needs and concerns.
  • Review payrolls and pensions prepared by junior staff to ensure accuracy.
  • Potentially review VAT returns and Year-End financials in the near future.
  • Assist clients with technical inquiries and ensure tasks are completed promptly.
  • Distribute workload among the team to meet deadlines.
  • Provide technical support to the team, helping them meet their deadlines.
  • Monitor team performance to ensure successful output.
  • Conduct self-assessments as assigned.
  • Onboard new clients effectively.
  • Support both the team and management as needed.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of job experience in accounting.
  • Part or Full Qualified accountant (Preferred).
  • Experience leading a small team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Strong organisational and leadership abilities.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines
