DEPUTY HEAD GARDENER REQUIRED

An opportunity has arisen at a Private Estate near Hungerford, Berkshire, for an assistant to the Head Gardener.

A relatively new garden, comprising formal borders and topiary hedges, wild flower meadows, orchard and lawns. Approximately three acres of garden set in 120 acres of parkland.

Required skills include general gardening, mowing, hedge cutting, swimming pool and other maintenance duties as required.

Responsible for maintenance of equipment and machinery on a day-to-day basis.

Chainsaw and tractor operator's certificate, plus PA1 & PA2 licences.

Full, clean driving licence essential due to location.

Must be capable, and not scared of sheep.

£33,000 p.a. inc 20 days holiday plus Public Holidays
