Changing Futures Cambridgeshire and Peterborough is an ambitious new partnership programme working to improve the experiences of people facing multiple disadvantage, (experience of homelessness, substance misuse, mental health issues, contact with criminal justice system and experience of domestic abuse) by enabling them to guide professionals across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough in transforming local services and systems to achieve social, economic and environmental sustainability.

Changing Futures seeks to co-create transformational systems change, through partnership working and looks to establish an organic structure across Cambridgeshire to ensure the voice of individuals with lived experience of multiple disadvantage is central in strategic and senior levels across the system.

This role will work closely with the Coproduction, Inclusion and Involvement Manager to support the priorities of the project and to focus on facilitating Lived Experience spaces across Cambridgeshire and becoming engrained in local services and settings to meet experts where in a trusted place.

The role is based in Huntingdon, but you will need to travel around the county as required.

What will you be doing?

The post of Lived Experience Coproduction Facilitator will lead on the facilitation of multiple coproduction spaces for a one year fixed term, and aims to amplify the voice of and enable adults who have experienced disadvantage, (homelessness, mental health, substance misuse, offending behaviours and domestic abuse.) The postholder will ensure coproduction structures are working across Cambridgeshire and will be involved in the planning, design and evaluation of the services that they may need or use. The post holder will be expected to work with adults who are experiencing multiple crises, and we would expect the post holder to work in a trauma informed manner, to support the individual(s) or group(s), to engage with opportunities to engage in local coproduction networks or other potential opportunities where services look to include lived experience, we would also expect the post holder to engage with services to identify experts by experience.

Frequent travel across Cambridgeshire will be expected as a key part of this role.
