Based at our Support Office in Wiltshire, we are searching for a Head of Finance to join our team. Finance at Neptune isn't just about number crunching. Working behind the scenes you'll find a warm and engaging team of commercially aware experts, who provide a truly dynamic service across all our operational businesses to help us achieve our financial goals.

Reporting to the CFO, as Head of Finance you'll be responsible for operating across business partnering, financial and board reporting, statutory accounts, cash forecasting, project work and leading a team of thirteen to success.

Day to day you will be responsible for:
Leading the financial planning, forecasting and budgeting processes monthly consolidation of management accounts for Neptune group companies in the UK and Asia, subsequently engaging key stakeholders with performance insightMaintaining and managing a robust financial control environment and core finance operations, reporting under IFRS/UKGAAPDrafting the financial inputs for the monthly Board reporting and support annual budgeting and forecasting processesGroup cash flow management: working with the senior leadership team to drive the optimisation of cash cycle and maintain accurate 12 week forecastingAssessing opportunities to drive business performance and investment decisionsLeading audit processes, liaising with external auditors and implementing recommendations in addition to ensuring submission, in conjunction with group tax advisors, of corporation tax returns and other ad hoc returns for the groupOverall responsibility for payroll of c500 employees via inhouse team and third party provider

You'll be a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, ACMA) and a naturally confident communicator, with previous leadership experience. Accuracy and detail driven, you'll also be well versed in being able to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. You'll operate as the back up to the CFO, stepping in to provide support with senior leadership requirements when required. Bringing excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you will also be a pro-active decision maker who can demonstrate such experience across the Finance function. You'll also bring exceptional Excel skills and a good understanding of SAGE or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
