We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Geography Teacher to join a successful and motivated faculty in our school. As part of this professional and dedicated team, you will be instrumental in inspiring and motivating our students. We welcome applications from both ECTs and experienced teachers. The ideal candidate will:

deliver engaging and interactive lessons through an enquiry-based approachfoster a love for geography by making the subject relevant and excitingenjoy getting involved in fieldworksupport students in their academic and personal developmentcontribute to the school's extracurricular activities.collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experiencebe organised and respect marking/data-submission deadlinessupport with revision and y11 progression. The Humanities Faculty at Greig City Academy is supportive and has an open-door approach to teaching: ideas and experiences are welcomed and listened to. The successful candidate will work for a department which is flexible and strives to continually improve and update the curriculum offer.

The Faculty includes Geography, History and Sociology. Geography is a thriving subject and is a popular choice at KS4 and KS5.
