Risk & Compliance Analyst

This is an exciting opportunity to support the compliance team at a boutique law firm's office located in Bishops Stortford. In this role, the successful applicant will assist the compliance team in managing the workload across a broad range of matters and be involved in a diverse range of tasks that ensure the firm practices within the regulatory standards. This position is ideal for someone who wants to expand their skill set or a senior compliance professional looking for more flexibility and a job closer to home.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supporting the team in ensuring legal compliance and upholding the professional standards of the firm.
- Handling complaints, liaising with clients and colleagues to investigate and prepare reports on matters.
- Assisting with data protection compliance, including support with DSARS.
- Responding to adhoc queries from staff on issues such as AML, sanctions, confidentiality, and conflicts of interest.
- Supporting the renewal of PI insurance.
- Maintaining accreditations such as Lexcel, Customer Service Excellence and Conveyancing Quality Standard amongst others the firm has obtained.
Beneficial Experience:
- Previous work in a law firm is beneficial.
- Being familiar with regulatory matters and bodies such as the SRA.
