The OOH
Clinician will provide a quality minor injury / illness service to patients attending UTC as an independent and autonomous practitioner, whilst being supported by a team of other Nurses and GPs. You may be expected to provide leadership to band six and student Emergency Nurse Practitioners, assist in their supervision, development, and management.
This role covers a variety of shift times including some weekdays, but mainly weekends, evenings and overnights.
The Candidate
You will need to have excellent communication skills, be able to manage yourself and others and be able to demonstrate your proficiency as an experienced ENP within the speciality of minor injury and illness management.If you are willing to drive yourself for the mobile shifts, you will need to provide your driver's licence, so you can be insured correctly to drive the service cars.
You will need be able to consult patients of all ages, including paediatrics.
If you are interested, you will need to provide CV, V300 Prescriber evidence, Minor Injury Level 7, Minor Illness Level 7, DBS, ID, Immunisations, Up to date mandatory training.
Having experience in the following would be helpful; Evidence of X-Ray Competencies, Experienced in suturing, Palliative Care Experience, Catheter skills/certificate both Male & Female.
