As a member of the Stornoway Airport Senior Management team you will act as an Ambassador for the Airport and contribute to the delivery of the strategic objectives via collaborative team working. The role will lead the Security team to deliver a safe, compliant and efficient service provision in accordance with CAA and HIAL regulated and mandatory standards.

The role is responsible for enhancing the customer experience, the maintenance of the airport infrastructure and operational excellence via continuous improvement by delivering the strategic, operational and commercial objectives relevant to the security provision, airport services and non-aeronautical related commercial revenues.

The role will lead stakeholder interface and Contractor management, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement across all aspects of the Security and Airport services operations.

We'll provide all the operational training required. You'll have experience working in a regulated environment as you'll be the focal point for the security operation, ensuring adherence to policy, regulatory compliance and company standards. Alongside this you'll be involved in managing a roster, implementing and maintaining quality assurance processes and managing risk.

You'll need excellent people management skills and lead by example providing feedback and coaching to ensure that behavioural and operational standards are monitored, maintained and exceeded. You'll be highly organised and work well with others.
