Key Responsibilities:

Conduct workplace assessments for plumbing – GAS apprentices and students, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Provide guidance and support to learners, helping them develop the necessary skills and knowledge required for their end point assessment.

Assess and evaluate learners' competence through observations, professional discussions, and written assessments.

Deliver effective feedback and provide constructive advice to learners to aid their development and improvement.

Collaborate with tutors, employers, and key stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to the learners' development.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, standards, and qualification requirements to ensure the delivery of high-quality training and assessment.

Who You Are:

A minimum of 5 years of experience working as a plumber – GAS in the industry.

Possess relevant plumbing – GAS qualifications and certifications.

Hold an Assessor qualification (e.g., TAQA, A1, CAVA) or be willing to work towards one.

Strong knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with learners, employers, and colleagues.

Demonstrated ability to assess and evaluate learners' competence effectively.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
