MAHLE Powertrain is a global engineering consultancy that specialises in the design, development and integration both of electrified powertrain systems and of advanced internal combustion engines. Our dual technological strategy is to lead the development of electro-mobility and, at the same time, the further optimisation of internal combustion engines.

Your Role & Resposibilities

Specify test equipment and design rigs for powertrain subsystems; engine, battery or motor to be installed in test facilities. Commission new engine installations on engine dyno Setup data acquisition systems (e.g. PUMA, CP CADET, Horiba STARS or National Instruments) for data collection and advise on best practice. Support troubleshooting activities within the test facility. Technical support and guidance to staff. Define, modify, and implement test processes.Provide wider technical support towards the delivery of test projects. Involved in company initiatives for future testing requirements

Skills and Experience

Proven background in engine dyno or similar propulsion system testing facilities. Able to work well as part of a team. IT literacy in MS Office applications is essential. Ability to influence the customer, senior management, and team members. A minimum of 5 years' experience in the field of powertrain engineering gained within an OEM or academic or consultancy environment.
