What you'll be doing:
- Lead the independent calculation of IFRS17 reserves across Retail and Commercial lines of business.
- Keep up to date with changes in the internal and external environment impacting reserves.
- Lead the 2nd line oversight of reserving and claims indemnity risks.
- Liaise with senior stakeholders including representing the Actuarial Function at Committees relating to claims and reserving.
- Produce the reserving reports for the Executive Committees and Board and contribute to the annual Actuarial Function report, the ORSA and SFCR.
- Ensure compliance with AXA Group and AXA Insurance Reserving policies.
- Motivate and develop team members by providing ongoing support and development.

What we're looking for:
- Qualified actuary with post-qualification experience, or equivalent.
- Significant reserving experience in general insurance.
- Experience of risk management desirable.
- Experience of managing key stakeholders and leading a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - able to interact with Executives, senior management, and regulators.
- Substantial industry knowledge and understanding of the regulatory framework.
- Analytical problem solving skills.
