Cover Supervisor

Salary Range: Grade 6 (SCP11 £18,279 – SCP 19 £20,950 pro-rata)

Contract Type: Permanent / 30 hours per week

Responsible to: Operations Manager / Headteacher

Start Date: As soon as possible

Closing Date: 12pm noon on Wednesday 8th May 2024

We are seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor with an outstanding track record, to provide short term cover for absent teaching staff.

The Cover Supervisor role is an exciting and rewarding role in the school in ensuring that every student achieves their full potential through the continuity of teaching staff when cover is required to create a positive, engaging and safe learning environment. The successful candidate will support the school and students by being able to delivery lessons prepared by teachers who are unable to take the lessons themselves. It is essential that the person for this role is organised, confident in working with children, be able to multitask, work flexibly and has a 'can do' approach to work, as no two days are the same.
